Poor service, untrained staff always on their cell phones, shoddy cleaning, bedbugs that have been present for years, and to top it off, when you want to leave, they don't accept notice and charge for meals and services on top of the rent until the end of the lease, even if you've moved elsewhere, disregarding housing laws. Avoid this residence

Dissatisfied due to the very high costs, even tripled costs, of care provided to the elderly residents of this facility. Staff turnover is very high, and there is still a bedbug problem after two years.

We appreciated this residence before it was taken over by Excelsoins. Following the transition, all the staff left without exception. Our mother has just moved out, and that's why we feel it's important to leave a review for others considering moving there. Having a loss of autonomy and living in the independent living section, she received absolutely NO services due to her condition. She was referred to the CLSC (local community health center). There was no housekeeping service, not even volunteers to assist her with meals. We had meals delivered to us, which were left to thaw on the reception floor because, due to staff shortages, no one was responsible for deliveries or calling for pickup. Instructions for bedbug treatments (yes, they've been there for several months) were distributed, and our mother even had to evacuate her apartment for six hours to avoid inhaling the chemicals. The family was not informed at all, and we're talking about someone with Alzheimer's. We informed them of the progression of the illness several times, but no, they couldn't do anything. The residence even gave our mother a form to fill out without informing the family about the need for assistance, given their inability to respond to their requests. We had to fight to get a doctor's note to break the lease despite the lack of services and the risk to our mother's safety. In short, if you are independent and going there for the facilities, perhaps, but otherwise, avoid it.

Many negative changes have occurred since the sale of this establishment to the Excelsoins group. Very poor service, arrogant employees, and much more!

My sisters are staying there, that's very good.
