Résidence Willowdale Pointe Claire

Our parents had a fire in their home and needed to relocate urgently. The team at the Wellesley worked with us to get them into a unit quickly and even furnished it for us. They were extremely accommodating and positive to work with. My parents really enjoyed their lovely unit, as well as the food, especially the freshly baked desserts. There are several social areas available and many activities available. I am grateful for their care and we really enjoyed having my parents here in this lovely setting.

I am deeply disappointed with the standard of care provided at this residence. Despite its promises, the facility consistently fails to meet basic expectations in cleanliness, communication, and attention to residents' needs. My experience has been marked by delayed responses to medical concerns, lack of proper engagement activities, and a general atmosphere that feels more institutional than compassionate. Families entrust their loved ones to these homes expecting dignity and respect—unfortunately, that trust was not honored here.

My mother was a resident at Le Wellesley for 11 years. There is a community feeling at Le W. The entire staff is so caring that Mom looked on many of them as friends. The various activities and outings made her days full and happy. As her family, we were always made welcome. We are so thankful that she chose this residence.

On behalf of my mother, Lucy M: The staff at Le Wellesley was wonderful and looked after us well during the recent blackout. They were helpful, encouraging and put themselves out for the residents. It was a stressful time, and they did everything they could to make us feel secure and cared for. They couldn't have done better.

I had the opportunity to visit the Wellesley as a visitor and was I ever impressed! The residents are thriving! I chatted with a lady at the front desk and she spoke of the residents with respect and told us that she was working in THEIR home, not that they were living where she worked. The chef made everyone cookies for the tea time, which were delicious. The decor was warm and filled with antiques and thoughtfully arranged. I got such a good feeling of the residence just from this small visit.
