Résidence Sevä

I don’t know why my name is posting as Faith First. I don’t have a Facebook presence but I’m happy to share my opinions about SEVA in this space. My name is Melody Seguin and I have been here since May 2018 and I signed before the hole was even dug. I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I moved in, I was amazed at how lovely this residence is. When you come in the door, you’re greeted by a very open, charming and comfortable great room with tables and chairs where we can go to meet, chat, or just have a coffee or maybe a glass of wine. The apartments are spacious and well appointed. I am fortunate to have been one of the first people to sign and I was able to get a 3 bedroom apartment, with 2 full baths, as well as a bonus wraparound balcony. The chef here is extraordinary. He manages to give us a selection of 3 choices per meal as well as an a la carte menu offered every day with several choices. We have monthly themed dinners and chef is always up to the task. At times there are over 300 people to feed and the fixed menu is always relevant to the theme and well prepared. The service staff is fabulous as well: friendly, polite and efficient. Further, there is a “private” dining room which seats 16 people for special events that we might want to host. Chef is so accommodating and patient. He does his very best to meet our requests and he makes our dealings easy. We have so many activities to keep us busy and meeting other people. I have made many dear friends since coming here. I highly recommend anyone looking for a residence for the next chapter of their lives to come and visit SEVA.

From the moment we arrived in Seva two and a half years ago, we were charmed by this residence. The staff are warm and friendly, and the residents are happy to live there. We highly recommend this place.

To be brief. My wife & I have been residents of SEVA since April 2018 so have had plenty of time to form an opinion. I would not hesitate to recommend SEVA to anyone contemplating a move into a retirement residence. The management & staff deserve nothing than full praise for their combined efforts to make SEVA a home, not just a residence, where everyone is made welcome. Five stars out of five. Tasteful residence with several activities organized for residents who wish to participate. Well located surrounded by grocery stores, banks, hardware stores and others.
