3.9 / 5This is a terrible place! Some of the reviews make me question their legitimacy to be honest. The residents are simply kept alive and all they do to entertain them is sit them in front of a television. The main building is old and run down and if your loved one is in the new part there is not even a central phone line to call and check up on them or see how they are doing. You are provided with the owner’s cell phone and his response time is terrible. If he is out of the country your calls and messages go unanswered and ignored. They also use a pharmacy outside the area who also exploit residents by dispensing medications more frequently for example weekly instead of monthly to increase their profits with more frequent dispensing fees. I questioned it and adjustments were made however I worry about vulnerable residents that don’t have people to question or advocate for them when opportunists are everywhere. Navigating through life when someone you love has dementia is difficult enough, experiencing places like this and finding out people just see them as dollar signs is heartbreaking. Unfortunately you just don’t know what a place is like until you have experienced it. I should say that some of the caregivers were actually kind, one specifically by the name of Gladys. Otherwise, I was unimpressed to say the least!
Very professional
The attendants are fine. The nursing staff, as well as management, are incompetent and extremely negligent. It's dangerous when a patient's condition requires a doctor; no follow-up is provided. My father died due to the negligence of the nursing assistant who failed to assess the severity of his symptoms despite my concerns and those of the attendants.
I have my grandma there and everytime i show up it is incredible & amazing service from the employees..the place is super clean and nice .regarding the food they have a lot of diversity always new things, tasty flavors..regarding Activities always new things to keep people happy on every occasion and events.. if it comes to me when i get old the only place i would love to be is this place .. I highly recommend this place for everyone who has someone old to be loved and feel he is between his family ...
Hello! Today, March 13, 2024, I just lost my mother, who passed away at the age of 94. 😌 She lived at the Pavillon for the past 8 years, a WONDERFUL place where life is good. The staff is caring and the management is incredibly kind. A true family where I never worried about my dear mother, as vulnerable as she was. It was like she was at home. A thousand THANKS for all the love, gratitude, patience, and compassion. From the whole family. We love you!! 😍
