Extremely unpleasant residents! I'm super shocked to have been arrested by aggressive residents! My mother and I live in the condos across the street from the residences. After a walk with my older sister in our new neighborhood, we went through the parking lot to get to the shops in Faubourg Boisbriands. We were subjected to yelling and insults from residents, and they sprayed my mother, who has health conditions, with tears in her eyes, being treated like a criminal. She was intimidated by a resident and his wife. They harassed my mother and came up to her nose, the man pressing his chest against my mother as if he wanted to hit her (this was during the COVID-19 pandemic), spraying her with his hose. TOTAL VIOLATION OF OTHERS! We drove into the parking lot without seeing the sign indicating it was private, but we were immediately attacked. I was on my bike and had no choice but to leave after their threats! This incident occurred on June 18, 2020, around 6:00 p.m. This is unacceptable! Very sad following the hateful comments from residents who should have simply warned us that it was private in a civilized manner.

Excellent facility for gradual retirement. There are 3 different phases, including a space for independent seniors. Entertainment is provided within the building, and there are also hairdressing services available. A convenience store and pharmacy are also on site. There are couples' rooms and a dining room. It's also possible to live with residents with special needs. Some residents with reduced autonomy have access to a specialized care system in a separate area, allowing them to remain in the same location. The staff is very kind and attentive. Oops! Yes! My mother has lived there for a year and recently her phone stopped working. It has now been a month since she was deprived of her means of communication. In case of illness, she is left to her own devices and they are unable to resolve the problem. Really disappointing service.

L'Orée du Faubourg is a residence for independent and semi-independent seniors. This residence was designed with their needs and lifestyle in mind. You have access to several recreational facilities. Having dined there a few times, I can say that the presentation of the dishes, the service, the variety of the menus, and the quality of the food were all impeccable. I hope their mission remains their objective.
