I rather not comment in detail. My review is for the centre de jour. There are some staff that are not nice and will show if they dont like you. Lack of professionalism, organization and tack with people. The nice and professional person is on sick leave ! Imagine that ! .I am not done them with after this review. I will bring it to another level. They demoralized my 92 year old dad who goes to exercise there . They dont realize that I dont take that stuff lightly. They have no idea about respect and they are hypocrites. Its time to out place in order my way

My mother (91 years old) currently lives there, and with the current situation, new restrictions are being added to those already in place. I can absolutely understand that there is no choice to be made and that the best option is to cooperate with the limited staff available. My sister and I even had to change our mother's diapers during our last visit due to the limited staff. However, the nurse (unfortunately not Ms. Jihanne) who was administering COVID-19 tests to the residents should temper her enthusiasm and her "power trip." We can't be aware of all the changes, and she shouldn't be unpleasant to caregivers just because she's in charge. A word to the wise... Further to my comment above, my mother has now been a resident for six months, and my opinion of Joseph-Francois-Perreault has changed considerably. My mother's appetite has returned because the food is excellent. My mother receives first-rate care and has even grown attached to the nurse (Jihanne), the nursing assistant (Mario), and several of the attendants who ensure her well-being (Youseline, Maryse, Martha, and many others). Joseph-François-Perreault has several residents who are over 100 years old, and there's a very good reason for that. The people at this facility take the people in their care seriously. Thank you very much to the entire team. Three stars doesn't reflect the services provided. A solid 4 or 4.5 would be more appropriate, in my opinion.

If you're thinking of placing a loved one there, take a moment to reflect on it. We placed my mother there, and she died recently. They lack good communication and organizational skills. If the information from the doctor on the floor where my mother was had been properly communicated to the nurses present at the time and to my sister, my mother would still be alive today. If you are considering placing an elderly relative in this facility, think carefully. My mother was placed there and passed away the night before last. There is a very serious problem with communication and organization. If the information from the doctor on the floor where my mother was and the nurses present at the time, when my mother was unwell, had been clear, my mother would still be alive.

My brother, André Gagnon, spent a few months with you and he loved his experience. He speaks so highly of the service he received and the staff that he told us he would love to spend his final days with you. He was there for a hip problem. The staff is nice, the food is truly awful. I don't think that any member of the gouvernement expect to end up there because they would make way more effort to make it not a hell hole.
