My father moved in when it was a 5-star facility, but it's now a 1-star. It's a quiet place where the residents are bored. The meals have always been barely acceptable in both taste and quantity. If hot dogs and a slice of cold pizza with watery soup and soggy salad are acceptable to you, then it's a good place. My father would look at his meal and ask me, "Would you eat that?" Frankly, no. But that's a typical meal, especially on weekends. Talk to the residents and their families. They'll tell you the food isn't good and is insufficient. My father compensated by getting food from local restaurants or convenience stores. With COVID, he lost the right to go out and is always hungry. No one asks them if they're still hungry. When my father lost some of his independence, the services weren't up to par. They moved him from one room to another without informing his guardian and ignoring his lease. When the residence finally decided to "get rid of" him, they sent him to the emergency room where he spent 16 hours on a stretcher before being shuttled from one hospital to another until his death.

The lady who manages this home is the rudest person I have ever met within this field. Zero empathy. Clearly does not care about her resident’s as priority. Threatens tenant’s and families with “Régie de logement” …not to mention the disrespectful way she addresses herself to the family. I am relieved that my father will change place and will no longer need to deal with this… One month was quite enough in this place

It is a welcoming, peaceful, and warm residence. I feel that my father is safe, well-treated, and happy to live there. The staff are extremely kind and very attentive. A big thank you to your wonderful, dedicated team!

Hello, my mother lived at this residence for 15 months. I have nothing but praise for the place and the staff. I highly recommend it. I appreciated all the care and attention the employees gave my mother. A special thank you to Adriana, Petronella, Émilienne, Raphaël, and so many others. You always made me feel welcome, and I felt my mother was safe and secure. I was very touched to be greeted by all the residents whenever I visited my mother. It truly is a warm and welcoming residence. My mother, Carmen Arnaud (room 113), passed away last week... and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication and excellent care. My mother lived there for a few months; she passed away on May 16, 2018. It took me a while to write this review, but it's never too late. I wanted to thank all the staff at this residence once again. The nurses were incredibly dedicated and constantly attentive to the needs of the residents. Everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful; they all gave their very best. I'm sure it's still the same even a year later. Furthermore, how many times did this same staff comfort me when I was going through very difficult times with my mother, as she had Alzheimer's disease.
