It's like stepping into another world! Le Marronnier isn't just huge—it's a true lesson in what care spaces should be. Ultra-modern without ever being cold, cleaner than any center I've visited or worked in, bathed in natural light that brings every corner alive. The atmosphere is almost spa-like—calm, Zen, and inspiring—and yet, you can feel the gentle hum of highly specialized care. The staff radiates happiness, not out of obligation, but because everything here seems designed to help them thrive. Everything exudes respect for people, whether they're residents or employees. I could even consider it not just a workplace or a care center, but a model of what the future of care in an independent living facility should be. And I tell myself that after I retire, I'd like to be a resident there too.

My mother stayed there from July 2019 to June 2021. She suffered from Parkinson's disease, and towards the end, she had difficulty getting up from her chair on her own. She therefore had to seek assistance from the on-site infirmary. Because she required so much help, the residence administration decided to terminate her lease. During a meeting, representatives told her she had only five days to move out, or they would hire a lawyer to evict her. As her son and primary caregiver, I had to take her in while I found her a better place. I have never witnessed such disregard for human life from a residence. For them, it's all about the money.

Every time I visit my mother at Le Marronnier, I appreciate the beauty of the common areas. They are warm, clean, and welcoming. Great care is taken to create a vibrant and lively environment. The activities are numerous and well-chosen. My mother's apartment is bright and functional. She quickly felt at home there. The employee-employer relationship seems good. The employees I spoke with had only positive things to say about their employer. I get the sense of a company that is doing its best, where the well-being of its residents is a priority. Le Marronnier is truly a unique place, excelling in every aspect.

After having to clear an apartment from a soon to be deceased person the security staff of 18 yrs olds went into a power trip. I recommend security staff with more than a 40hrs course for a BSP card.
