My mother has been in this place since May 2024, waiting for a place closer to home. She weighed over 140 pounds and she could walk! Now she's in a wheelchair to prevent falls?! This November, she's hospitalized with double pneumonia and a severe urinary tract infection. Yet, I'd been telling them for two weeks that my mother had a very bad cough. But I have no power to get her out of this place! 😢 Is this really how we treat our elderly? I didn't agree to sending her there, but I had no alternative and no choice. I feel like I sent her to a death trap. 😢

ZERO STARS. Disorganized and inhumane staff. They play with people's lives. They leave patients in appalling medical conditions. They don't review medical records before providing care or feeding a patient. They left a patient with a dislocated jaw for several days and continued to feed them without reviewing their medical records. This person died in cruel conditions. Avoid this place. Words fail to express the treatment they inflict on vulnerable people.

It's already been three years since Mom passed away following a mysterious fall, not to mention the fact that I wasn't informed on the day of her death, even when I called. Before that, she was left unattended on a balcony in April, which caused pneumonia, in addition to other falls and a caregiver who bullied Mom, even on Christmas Eve when I was there. At least she had an angel, Lorraine, who came to put her to bed at night. Sadly...

To the director of the St-Eustache CHSLD: My father, who is in the secure wing for people with cognitive impairment and is at the end of his life with morphine injections, can only receive one visitor! I am triple-vaccinated and get tested every seven days because I work in biotechnology. Please offer some compensation!
