It's not perfect, but the healthcare staff are doing miracles with what little they have, so we have to give them a break.

My mother lives there and is 101 years old. She's completely lucid, has macula disease, and is a little deaf, but she's very well cared for by the nursing and medical staff. The food is excellent and everything is super clean. THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING!!!

I would like to take a moment to thank all the staff at the facility who were professional and understanding towards my mother and her family. Although she was only there for a few months, I can assure you that the quality of care is superior to what I've seen in private care. Thank you so much! You made this transition as humane as possible.

I don't even know where to begin, it was such a nightmare for my great-grandmother to be in that long-term care facility. While there's a staff shortage, as is common, the care provided to patients shouldn't change. She lacked basic hygiene, wasn't allowed to move despite a pressure sore on her tailbone, and her meals weren't prepared properly for her level of independence—for example, a smoked meat sandwich with the bread wrapped in paper and the meat served separately. It's worth noting that she was completely unable to move because she was in too much pain. Our grandmother was terribly dehydrated. We, with no nursing training, could clearly see it, even though the nurses told us she wasn't and that we shouldn't worry. We were too concerned about her suffering, so we decided to call an ambulance. It's a good thing we had the sense to act on our own, because we were told today that she's extremely dehydrated, has a blood infection, and her kidneys have completely failed. There's nothing more that can be done. We're currently at her bedside, as she only has a few hours left to live. She was admitted to the hospital yesterday. They had put her in code 6 at the long-term care facility, but upon arrival at the hospital, she was reclassified as code 1, a priority case. It's worth noting that her condition was the same at the hospital as it was at the long-term care facility. It's also worth noting that she only spent about a week there. I can't imagine the other patients and their families who believe everything the healthcare professionals say. It breaks my heart. A stupid nurse who made things up to the paramedics right in front of us. Clearly, many of them don't give a damn about the patients and should change professions. Immensely sad.

Beyond the walls and the beauty of the facility, there are the people. My father spent a little over a year and a half there and he had nothing but good words for the staff, the entire team from management to the nurses and attendants who do an extraordinary job. He didn't like the food but never lacked for anything. Being in a loss of autonomy brings its share of challenges and it's not easy for anyone. Thank you to the entire team, you are wonderful.
