CHSLD Hubert-Maisonneuve

Needs more employee in order to cover the whole place and have excellent service.

My mother resided at this center on the 2nd floor. The staff is very dedicated and caring. She received excellent care from the nurses, nursing assistants, orderlies, and doctor, not to mention the social worker, the unit manager, and the maintenance staff. The only negative thing I could say is that my mother was very lucid, and because most of the residents lacked autonomy and were physically and mentally disabled, she didn't want to participate in activities or eat her meals in the dining room because she said it upset her. Otherwise, I recommend this center without hesitation.

4 months ago, my 97 year old mother left her beloved home and was moved to the Hubert-Maisonneuve long term care residence in Rosemere. The staff and medical personnel have been so kind, helpful, understanding and attentive towards my mother every day. It is a very positive and cheerful atmosphere. The medical personnel have been in frequent touch with me, especially during the first few weeks. They had many suggestions to give and their experience was very helpful. I feel as though the care given is tailored to each person's needs. The building is very clean, and bright looking. I have nothing but good things and complements to say about this facility? It's a retirement home. Not much to say other than they are short staffed and it's depressing.

Wonderful place for my sister-in-law, Very kind and attentive staff. Only downside = PARKING,,,,,, The small parking lot in front on the street was VERY useful but it is closed. Since we come from far away and our visits are frequent. Do you have a place to recommend to us? Thank you!
