Thank you to the entire team on the third floor. Their professionalism is beyond words; they were so present and attentive to our needs. Thank you to Serge, Joëlle Nadeau, Josée Nadeau, Guylaine, Nathalie, and I'm forgetting some of the others, please forgive me. The news is talking about elder abuse by orderlies and nurses, but let me tell you, that's not true everywhere. Every two hours, they would come to rub my father-in-law with cream, change his diapers twice a day, bathe him every morning, and every time he was medicated, they would touch him and talk to him to let him know, even if he had been induced into a coma. The staff also came to see us, talk to us, answer our questions, and even after his death, my mother-in-law received a call from Serge to offer his condolences and tell her how much he would have liked to be there when he took his last breath. There are good staff members. That too deserves to be in the news. Why always relentlessly bombard the public with bad news? Why not reassure them instead by letting them know that kindness and compassionate care do exist? BRAVO AND THANK YOU AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. YOUR PRESENCE WAS INVALUABLE AND MADE THESE FOUR EXHAUSTING DAYS SO MUCH EASIER TO GET THROUGH. WITHOUT YOUR PRESENCE, WE WOULDN'T BE IN THE "ZEN" STATE WE ARE RIGHT NOW ❤️❤️❤️
