4th floor. The quality of service has diminished extremely since Covid. The meals are so terrible residents are not eating and rejecting the food. They have put a lock on the refrigerator to prevent residents from even getting something on their own (juice, bread, milk). Often times lacking supplies like tea, coffee, cream. Call bells go unanswered for 30 minutes if ever. Calling the unit goes unanswered. Staff are routinely on their phones of bluetooth earpods or standing in corners away from camera on their phones. Laundry is often lost. Don't expect any physical activity, they never walk the residents even through they claim to have a "walking program". Some residents are left in their rooms and never exit out. Things need to change drastically, competent supervision at all times is needed, and audit is needed (check call bell response, look at the meals being served). Few if any staff speak english or chinese, it may be nice to have 1 person occasionally to converse with people that are not fluent in french. Staff changeover is frequent. Only compliment is that if I serious event happens (fall or medical emergency), they respond quickly, assuming they are present or family can notify them.

They are understaffed, overworked. And the elderly residents pay tbe price of low quality..

If I could give this residence negative stars I would. The staff is extremely neglectful. My family member has been there months and the staff is horrible. No bilingualism at all. My family member has not benn given meals 2 times this month alone, she has sat in her dirty diaper from the night before until 3:30 afternoon, and as of today not been bathed is 2 1/2 weeks. The Nurses and PAB's are rude to residents and family members. The only nice staff I met there was a physiotherapist and the activities coordinator.

Poorly run... Very rude & impolite nurses/pab with no care for residents. Residents have been told to shut up, wait over 30 minutes for help in bathroom or room.. I could go on for days I could just imagine when family isn’t there to see it... Stay away!!

Staff doesn't even know what illnesses are affecting each patient, care is poor at best. Avoid at all costs.
