There are daily activities and events to stimulate our seniors who are experiencing a loss of autonomy or cognitive function. The facility offers many employment opportunities and a clean, quiet environment. There's a small convenience store and a hair salon on-site. The grounds also feature a garden and flowers.

Hello, our experience within your establishment was unfortunately pitiful, not content with the care of the residents there are still good people there but, after the arrival of my mother a 14-day confinement was necessary it was obvious, on the other hand as she did not walk alone she could not move even in the room, so from the first days we lost these dental prostheses which we did not find, compensation was made to us yes but with a financial loss of $700. Secondly we bought her a comforter to keep her warm, once again this last one was never found either. On December 12, 2020, I visited my mother with the protections, they did not take care to tell me that her roommate had covid and had to leave the room, wow I'm already home, poor mom, the next day I was informed that my mother tested positive, so we took her down to the rainbow zone, the doctors kept me regularly informed of her condition, few symptoms, suddenly after 8 days the fever still appears under control, it's fine, so I was told on December 23 that she was returning to her unit... I visited her, I was in shock to see that this damn virus had done so much harm to my little mom. On the morning of December 29, I was called back to inform me that mom was returning to the covid zone??? Strange why had she gone out if she was still positive, no response. So I go to her bedside to keep her company and this by chance as I used to do, and well there I am told at that moment that she is at the end of her life phew wait there now yes I hurry to call my brothers who have been several weeks without seeing her because of the covid they arrive with eagerness to live the last moments with her, at the reception the guards only listening to their protocols made my brothers wait more than 15 minutes at the entrance so they missed their mother by 5 minutes. so I arrived at 3:45 my mother gave up the ghost at 5:30 pm. The height of it and this is what hurts me even more is that we meet the funeral home this Monday January 4th I ask for my mother's wedding rings and her glasses it's all I have left of her. I don't have them they tell me what? I am on the phone every day, leaving messages at the center and no one answers me or returns my calls, to end her life with many other residents around who have covid and not to find the objects that my mother cherished even though they had little value, that was what her granddaughter (me) who feels sad and disconcerted to bear the blame for having brought her there to end her life in this way, I do not have the honor of deserving what was left for her...

I went for training. I did not visit the premises. The staff who gave the training demonstrated that they are very professional towards their customers, attentive and vigilant to make the days pleasant for their residents. Thanks to these two trainers, it was very appreciated.

By pure chance, I saw the January calendar, which lists the activities offered to residents. When you hear everything that's said on TV about residences lacking staff, I think the Georges Frédérick Hériot Centre is very well organized and structured to make life as pleasant as possible for its residents.
