What an exceptional team, dedicated and caring staff! Thank you so much for the excellent care my father received.

Just yesterday, when I arrived at the center to visit my mother, a staff member was sitting with some of the residents and a songbook, leading them in song. My mother sang along, her eyes shining with joy. I was so happy to see her like that. Last time, the same staff member was helping them with drawings. All the staff are incredibly attentive to the residents. Thank you.

My grandmother has been there since 2019… I was disappointed to learn she would be there… Since I work in the field, and I had been there often with my agency in the past… they didn't treat the residents well. I've noticed that since she's been there, that's changed… Today, I'm on the emergency contact list… I'm not receiving any calls… she's always lying down… the reason… she disturbs the other residents by shouting, she's defecated in her incontinence pad, and it's too difficult to get her back into her chair. Her shoes are always soiled with urine, the diaper changes are never done, she's lying in her own urine. She's a social worker who's now exiled to her room… at 6:15 PM, she's in bed for the night. As a unit manager in another residence… I do not accept this fate for the residents… and I do not accept it for her either…

Positive points: Good meal. It looks like a hotel from the entrance. Very clean room. Negative points: Lack of staff and communication, and no work schedule posted on the wall of each room. After a fall, the nurse confirmed that a doctor would come, but only 5 days after the incident. After showering, the attendants don't report any bodily injuries to the resident (blackened nails, cut skin). Why? So the nurse can't know. Loss of clothing despite each item being labeled with the person's name. Is it normal to let a resident sleep fully dressed as they were during the day, with their shoes on? The salaries and staffing levels seem insufficient compared to public long-term care facilities.

The staff is very attentive to the residents and their families. My father arrived a few days ago, and the staff is doing everything to ensure he feels supported and stimulated. The atmosphere is excellent, and the daily activities organized by the recreation department are truly interesting and varied. The facilities are definitely top-notch, as are the meals. The nursing staff is professional, dynamic, and demonstrates genuine empathy towards the residents. This is an example to follow for all facilities that wish to invest in the care of seniors experiencing a loss of autonomy.
