The customer service was truly excellent.

Definitely avoid this place. My mother and I visited, and I must say it seemed very nice. When we signed the lease, they requested an assessment by a nurse, which is perfectly normal. However, even upon the nurse's arrival, she wasn't very welcoming and seemed to have many preconceived notions about my mother's health and cognitive abilities. She then stated that my mother didn't seem independent and that she would need her medical records. Again, this is perfectly normal, so we provided my mother's medical records, including those from her family doctor who declared her completely independent, as well as an assessment by a psychogeriatrician who reached the same conclusion as her family doctor. Subsequently, despite the two files I provided, the residence called me (one month before the move) to tell me they wouldn't accept her as an independent resident (contrary to the two assessments I provided upon request), but rather on the care floor (which, of course, costs three times as much). So, I must admit that, from our perspective, this seems very dishonest and an attempt to take advantage of the situation. At no point did they even offer us a trial period under the condition that, if she lost her independence, they could transfer her to that floor, which we would have accepted with understanding. We find it unacceptable that a residence would try to exploit elderly people. That's why we took the time to write this review to prevent others from having this experience.
