Résidences Vivendi

keep in mind when you read this post that my mother was there 13 years ago , and i sure hope the place has upgraded since then. hallways had so many streaks of urine all the time , the smell was so bad i had to hold my breath to get to her room. residents would come and go in her room as they were very confused. on many occasions they would run out of food so my mom was stuck eating toast and jello at dinner time. the lunch lady serving the tables was the one giving the injections of vitamin of some sort in the stomach to many residents. here is your plate, lift your shirt , and here is your shot.

My parents lived at the residence for 10 years. My dad is 90 years old and my mother 89 years. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The staff are well trained and capable of handling any situation. Very clean place. Very reasonable rates. The owner is always available and very helpful.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the superb care they gave my grandmother. They showed such kindness and really took the time to always make sure she had everything she needed . I was always able to reach someone whenever I had any concern. I felt secure knowing she was in great hands. She had a comfortable room with a great view , it was so pleasant to take the path down to the water and sit with her . The owner, Remo, was always reachable and very helpful and compassionate and I would highly recommend Residence Vivendi.

After searching for months for a residence, my friend finally found a nice and comfortable place with great surroundings for his mother. She's been living at Vivendi for the last two years. She's very happy with the services and the warmth of the staff. Not to mention that its very affordable comparing it to other residences. If there were any issues, my friend spoke to the staff/manager and they acted right away. The problem is that when a patient becomes non-autonomous and needs more specific services, he can't stay there any more, the patient needs to be transferred to a CHSLD (that it’s a lot more expensive). Management will do their best to help relocate the patient. A protocol must be followed. The place is always clean, going through renovations and the patients are happy with the food, often done specially to their specific diet. I completely recommend Vivendi; the activities are great even if my friend's mom won't participate all the time.

Fantastic residence. Staff are great and pay lots of attention. They do have activities 5 days a week with a nurse 7 days. Every visit I've made there is cleaning Staff, so I don't understand previous reviewers. Vivendi is extremely affordable, and very difficult to find such a place within budget. Food is good. Will be hard to find a replacement to Vivendi when extensive care for patient that need to be transferred to a private CHSLD because too expensive easy at $3500 plus.
