Résidence Sainte-Rose

The staff are mostly kind, helpful, and friendly. The room is clean. If I had one suggestion: change the light bulbs in the hallways to warm white instead of cool white for a cozier atmosphere.

My grandmother has been there for 2 years now. Beautiful place, welcoming staff. Nice terrace outside where they organize BBQs. I had the chance to chat with the chef, very friendly. The food is excellent and varied, the best scallops I've ever eaten in my life a few weeks ago. Wonderful morning waitress who makes the residents feel at home. I highly recommend. Special greetings to Marie from the 4th, my grandmother's favorite, very professional and human. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My father was a resident for three months! He was on the 5th floor due to mobility issues! The residence isn't too big, and all the staff are friendly, cheerful, generous, and empathetic! Outstanding service! Thank you all! Director, attendants, nurses, activities coordinators, concierge, housekeeping staff!!! You all made a wonderful impression on me! Thank you and best of luck; you're a fantastic team!

When my father was admitted to the Sainte-Rose residence, he already had significant cognitive impairment. Upon his admission, Isabelle (the director) explained to the family that the limitation for admission was mobility. The resident must be able to move around independently. A year and a few months later, my father's condition deteriorated to the point where two or three caregivers had to work together to help him get up. There were challenges with showering and meals, and my father often refused to cooperate. But throughout all of this, the staff always showed respect and flexibility. The CLSC (local community health center) also helped extend his stay by providing occupational therapy services and loaning equipment (for example, an electric bed). There were a few issues (shirts disappearing in the wash, daytime underwear being put on at night and vice versa). These are the same issues at the long-term care facility where my father has just been transferred. For me, these are minor details. The socks disappear in my own washing machine too. Thank you to Résidence Sainte-Rose for welcoming my father. We will cherish the memories of his stay. The Residence's New Year's party was the best I've attended in a long time!

My father arrived at the Sainte-Rose residence in December 2023. Since my father has been living at the residence, his morale has been very good, he laughs, he makes jokes, he is happy. The staff takes good care of dad, he feels safe and he likes the food, especially the breakfasts. There is a lot of choice on the menu so he always finds something he likes. He loves bingo and especially the concerts. Thank you! To the recreation department. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the nursing and administrative staff and Ms. Mireault for listening to my father and the good care they provided.
