Les Habitations Bordeleau (Phase IV)

This week we went to pick up my grandmother for the holidays, some residents were talking amongst themselves about a manager who was yelled at badly, using inappropriate language towards the elderly.

When my mother moved in a few years ago, I was super excited for her. We encouraged my aunt to move in when her house was sold. But over time, I completely lost trust in them. I myself have noticed several things that really raised my eyebrows, and I have no problem saying that some seniors who live in some of the buildings do not feel safe: very high staff turnover, the attendants have little or no training: I was even told by one of them after a fall from a residence that she did not know what to do. Residents pay for meals in the dining room that are inadequate, complaints from residents that are absolutely not taken seriously by management. Great advertisements but very little concern for the real well-being of their residents.

Brand new residence with tons of facilities. Apartments are spacious and well divided. Not posting a 5 stars rating because only time will tell.

Very kind staff. Clean. Nice residential apartments. Lots of services.
